"As we drove through the suburbs of the capital, Kampala, I saw a country with a sense of rawness and organic chaos. A country growing quicker than its structure can handle."

Unlike travel sites, or media coverage, films like the series Norman has produced shows an intimate look at the beauty of Uganda. His documentary style brings a realness to his footage that tourist sites like Kabiza cannot. Tourist sites seek to promote Uganda for profit, as well as to portray the country in a better light than the media tends to. Films like what Norman has produced though, aren't aiming to sell Uganda to tourists, but rather to showcase his adventures in the country. His film, in particular, draws on the beauty of Uganda, which viewers get to experience alongside his own astonishment.

While the realness of his film makes the country more inviting, it is an additional depiction of Uganda that shows the natural beauty of the country and its wildlife. Like many others, Norman went on safaris and stayed at seemingly extravagant locations. His video indicates no sponsorship, but his trip appears to be nothing short of expensive.

This video highlights a different aspect of Uganda than the usual depiction of the nation, which tends to highlight nature and wildlife, the two major draws for travel. DuncanAfrica is a  product of Suubi Trade School, which began in 2007. The trade school educates youth in Uganda in a simple trade: guitars. Suubi aims to connect these students to the overseas market, allowing them to move beyond the trade school and produce their own living.

The video is a prime example of how the economy of Uganda is developing and how the people themselves are working towards a better future by supplying their youth with a profitable skill.
