Long shape, Strong resilience
Amidst the third decade after a devastating violent dictatorship that abolished Chile's right to free speech through art and protect, the country is quickly becoming one of the most vibrant in South America. Erupting in both arts culture and young political activism powered by social media, Chile is an ongoing story of hope and prevalence, and light in the shadow of a dark past.
This is an analysis of the media in Chile and how it impacts the culture of the country. I have never been to Chile, and this is strictly based on interviews, research, and data.

This map provides a good indication of where the majority of Chile’ population is. I can see from this map that the majority is clustered in urban areas, leaving a large part of the country very rural and scarce in populations. This could indicate a very distinct type of lifestyle shared by the majority of the population, which could affect the style of media that comes out of Chile. [23]
