Commentary: This year has the largest average difference for almost all of the columns in the table above, and the fewest agreements in the rightmost four columns as well. Even with that being said, the top twenty teams ended up only off by three positions on average, which is not that large a disagreement from the polls. (The teams appearing in the polls in the average positions of #21-#25 appeared in quite different positions in the Rewards ordering: #40, #16, #48, #18 and #34 respectively.) However, the top eleven teams in both polls do end up in the first eleven positions produced by Rewards, just in a different order - but not all that different: typically only two or three positions.
