(The top 25 column is excluded here since the AP and UPI polls do not list any teams outside of the top 20.)
Commentary: This was another year of high correlation between the Rewards ranking system and the AP & UPI polls. Rewards matched "exactly" four of the top 10 (as far as their average position in the two polls) including the top two teams, and two other top 10 teams were only "off by one" spot. Washington was ranked as #16 and appeared as #11 in both of the polls, and several other teams appearing in position #15-#20 in the polls appeared somewhat further down in the Rewards ranking, but there seemed to be strong agreement regarding who the top ten or eleven teams were.
