The Vermont Geographic Alliance (VGA) was established in 1991 by K-12 teachers, college and university faculty, and interested citizens. The VGA is part of a nationwide alliance movement which includes all 50 States.

We are supported by grants from the National Geographic Society Education Foundation
and in-kind support from Castleton State College.
Our partners include the State Department of Education.  Current VGA Coordinator is Professor Scott Roper at Castleton State College.
