The Vermont Geographic Alliance (VGA) was established in 1991 by K-12 teachers, college and university faculty, and interested citizens. The VGA is part of a nationwide alliance movement which includes all 50 States.
We are supported by a grant from the National Geographic Society and in-kind support from Saint Michael's College and the University of Vermont. Our partners include the State Department of Education. VGA Coordinators for the 2007/2008 Program Year are Richard Kujawa of Saint Michael's College and Cheryl Morse Dunkley of the University of Vermont.
