Self-Study/NEASC Reaccreditation
Every ten years, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) requires member institutions, like Saint Michaels College, to undertake a comprehensive self-assessment as part of the reaccreditation process. In the fall of 1998, Saint Michaels College began the process of preparing for reaccreditation in the year 2000. This web site is designed to keep the Saint Michaels community appraised of the self-study process as well as to provide the Self-Study Committee with additional insights into the questions of where, as a community, we have been, where we are now, and where we hope to be in the future. The self-study process is a major undertaking which will engage all our community...faculty, staff, students, trustees, alumni, and friends... in an assessment of the Colleges mission, integrity, and institutional effectiveness.
