- Be able to choose and search Indexes/Full text databases for each
subject area
- Understand periodical indexes delivered via cd-roms, online
subscriptions services, Internet, and full text
- Understand the Internet and the Invisible Web and be able to search
it effectively
- Demonstrate the ability to design an effective search strategy
- Understand copyright and the concepts of fair use and public domain
- Be able to define, recognize and avoid plagiarism
- Understand and demonstrate the principles of documenting sources -

- Know the principals for evaluating information sources
