  • Be able to choose and search Indexes/Full text databases for each subject area
  • Understand periodical indexes delivered via cd-roms, online subscriptions services, Internet, and full text
  • Understand the Internet and the Invisible Web and be able to search it effectively
  • Demonstrate the ability to design an effective search strategy
  • Understand copyright and the concepts of fair use and public domain
  • Be able to define, recognize and avoid plagiarism
  • Understand and demonstrate the principles of documenting sources - APA, MLA
