Look over the Format of the Online Annotated Bibliography located @ http://academics.smcvt.edu/sburks/online_annotated_bibliography.htm
1. Begin the 1st draft of the BACKGROUND PAGE of your project. This DRAFT (which will be in-progress throughout the semester) needs to be handed in by October 28. Have this in a digital form (send to self via email or on disc for next class.
2. Prepare a visual outline of your planned Web site. What will be the Navigation scheme be? How will you break down the content areas within your project? You may use a flow chart or other formats to represent web project. Have this in a written draft form by October 28.
3. Find 5 Sources you might consider for your Online Annotated Bibliography (Not
to be handed in)
1- Journal Article from a professional journal
1-.Book source
1- Reference Source
1- Internet Source
1- Newspaper Article
Annotate one of the sources above using the 5 criteria of evaluation covered @ http://lib.nmsu.edu/instruction/evalcrit.html
Bring the above, including the Background Page describing your topic to the next class. Bring it on a disc that is compatible with Microsoft word or email it to yourself on your Mikenet account.
We will use the Background Note and Annotations as "content" when using FrontPage for your web pages.
NOTE: You can change your topic, sources, scope note as you research over the semester.
Its OK to be undecided about many of your issues about your project at this
point.
