PRINT REFERENCE SOURCES Answer the following questions using the print reference sources given
Reference Sources are a good place to get factual information for your research. Chapter 7 of your textbook gives a good overview of types of reference sources and you should be familiar with the main sources covered in this chapter. The library buys and collects Reference Sources in Print and Electronic format. Probably the best method of finding Reference Sources in Print is to Browse the Reference Section of the library on the main floor by LC Classification. As a general rule - try to find Reference Sources that are specific to a subject discipline. Use an economics dictionary for economics research instead of a general dictionary.
3. Use the Statistical Abstract of the United States [REF HA202] to find how many American's participate in GOLF (if you need any statistical data for marketing, research, crime data, etc-- this is a good source to get started!)
