SAINT PAUL: BIBLIOGRAPHY

These are books selected from the holdings on St. Paul at St. Michael’s College. Except for minor changes , I have not edited the list which shows up on the library search. Sometimes, the reference is not complete but enough is there to find the book. This is not a complete bibliography on Saint Paul. A few books have not been included, e.g., older books. Even books in the SMC library may not be inlcuded: no single search is likely to produce an exhaustive list, I am told.

For extensive and recent bibliographies, see Ben Witherington III, The Paul Quest, InterVarsity Press, 1998 and Calvin Roetzel's Paul: The Man and the Myth, Univ. of South Carolina Press, 1998, both of which contain about 300 works on St. Paul. See also James D. G. Dunn's The Theology of Paul the Apostle, Grand Rapids, MI: W. B. Eerdmans, 1998

For recent entries, one can always consult New Testament Abstracts (section on Christology) and  Ephemerides Theologiae Louvaniensis.
