You will be watching a well-known Parisian chef, Henri Faugeron, prepare a dish of his own invention, Oeufs coques Faugeron à la purée de truffes. Remember to bring headphones to the computer lab -- in order to do the tasks, you must be able to hear M. Faugeron speak! (If you don't have Walkman, Discman, etc. headphones, borrow a set from a friend.) En regardant Go to the site for M. Faugeron's restaurant. Click on the link Recette en vidéo at the bottom of the first page. When the next page is loaded, you'll see a photo of the dish. If you scroll down, you'll see the image of a stove, with a square containing the logo of RealPlayer. After loading is complete, the two buttons beneath this "screen" will each contain an arrow and a square. Click on the arrow to play the video, on the square to stop it. You may have difficulty playing it a second time. If so, simply exit that page (go back to the first page), click on Recette en vidéo again, and reload the video page. 1. Premier visionnement. Study the list of cooking ingredients below before watching the video. Some are used by the chef, others are not. As you watch, check off the ingredients that are included in M. Faugeron's recipe.
2. For reasons of time, part of the preparation is not shown -- that of the actual creation of the purée de truffes. List the ingredients M. Faucheron must have used to make the purée (ingredients from his list, for instance, that you may not have seen him use directly). 3. Le bon ordre.
