Spanish in Venezuela
May 14 – June 11, 1999

SMC students spent four wonderful weeks in beautiful Venezuela, earning five SMC SP 210 language credits. They studied at a Venezuelan university two hours west of Caracas, lived with local families, while taking Spanish classes four days a week.  Visits to community service agencies, evening socials and weekend trips were also part of the experience!

The tour was led by Prof. John Carvellas, Department of Economics.
