Study Abroad Information

Students are encouraged to experience other cultures and further their foreign language skills by studying abroad.  Read general information of interest to language students, or go directly to the Study-Abroad Office's webpages.

Our Students

Senior French and Spanish majors complete a Thesis - the culminating research experience in their language studies.  Topics vary according to the interests of each student.

Language Learning and Resource Center (LLRC)

The LLRC is our Language Lab - students listen to tapes which accompany their textbooks; watch SCOLA and other foreign TV shows; and converse with friends. [LLRC homepage]

Internships

The Academic Internship Program - a partnership between students, participating employers, and the College - offers students academically-meaningful career-related, pre-professional work.  Internships are supervised work experiences within both the public and private sectors.
