Kathy Schaw's Professional Experience Page
Hello! I have created the GED556 web site as part of a graduate level education course I teach for St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont. The course, Telecommunications & The Vermont Standards, teaches educators how to create standards-based units of study incorporating telecollaborative components. Click here to view the work we have done this summer.
In addition to teaching this course, I also teach several other courses, workshops, and institutes (see below). But teaching adults is not my primary occupation. My full-time position involves teaching elementary school (6 years). I have also been a technology coordinator for Cambridge Elementary School, helping the school develop its Information Technology Plan and teaching its faculty and staff to integrate technology into their work and teaching. In 1998-99, I will be the K-8 Curriculum & Assessment Support Specialist for Williston Schools, in Williston, Vermont.
Please refer to the links below to learn more about the work I have done!
