The 2002 post season bowl games began with N. Texas St .vs. Cincinnati, and concluded with the Fiesta Bowl (Ohio State vs. Miami (Florida)). The Overtake and Feedback ranking system (OAF), and the seven BCS (Bowl Championship Series) rating systems' predicted victors are listed below for this year's 28 bowl games. (http://www.masseyratings.com/cf/compare.htm lists the final rankings computed after the regular season ended for all 117 division I-A colleges. The specific ranks for the 56 teams below can be found in my summary page.) The rating systems were created by Jeff Anderson and Chris Hester (A&H), Richard Billingsley, Wes Colley, Kenneth Massey, the New York Times, Jeff Sagarin, and Peter Wolfe. The two polls consulted were the Associate Press (AP) and USA Today's coaches' polls. (The systems that include margin of victory by Massey, and by Sagarin, were selected from the 96 that are listed on the comparison web page given above since I believe both of their systems that include margin of victory are purported to be more effective, and margin of victory is excluded in the BCS versions of their systems.)
