| Media
and Journalism Internships:
All JO&MC students have the opportunity to intern at
local, national and international media organizations as
part of their major requirements. Through our Journalism
Practicum course (JO-413), students work for newspapers,
radio or television stations, web design studios, public
relations firms, advertising agencies, or in other media
and communication positions. Internships are performed junior
or senior year during the fall, spring, or summer semesters.
Internships not only provide an excellent way to get on-the-job
experience, but frequently lead to careers following graduation.
