Final FAQs:
You may use two sheets of notes, front and back, on the
final.
The final is cumulative. It covers all of chapters 2, 3, 5, and 7, except
2.2, 2.5, 3.7, and 5.6
NO graphing, financial, or programmable
calculators! If you come with one of these, you will be sent out
of the exam until you find an acceptable calculator!! |

Final
Exam--The final exam dates for the two classes were
reversed on the first day handout. Here are the correct dates:
There will be a cumulative final exam from 9:00 - 11:30 am on Monday,
December 16 for section A (9:30 class) and from 9:00 - 11:30 am on
Tuesday, December 17 for section B (8:30 class) . |

11/25 (monday) are rescheduled to 11:45 due to a sick baby. |

I still can't
get out of my driveway, so the BOTH
the 8:30 and the 9:30 classes today are CANCELLED.

Well, I
obviously haven't made office hours, and will probably be late for at
least the 8:30 class as well. As of right now, class is only
delayed, but NOT cancelled. Please watch this space for possible
cancellation. |

have additional time available around 11:45 today. |

Nov. 1 is a
Holy Day of obligation, and I want to get to the 11:30 mass, so office
hours for Friday, Nov. 1 are postponed until 1:30 to 2:30. |

on Friday, October 25 will cover 5.4, 5.5, 7.0, 7.1, and 7.2 through
#18. |

Office hours on
Wed, Oct. 23 are rescheduled. I will not be available at the
usual 7:30 am time. Instead, I will be available from 1:00 to
2:00 on Wed afternoon. I am also adding an additional office
hour each week--starting Friday, Nov 1, I will have office hours on
Fridays, from 11:45 to 12:45. |

In the credit
card project, the new balance in the upper right hand corner should be
$2647.81,
just like the new balance in the lower right. Please either
reprint the project (I have reposted it), or handwrite the correction
on your project. Thanks. |

The postings on
this site have all been tested and all work. If you have any
difficulty getting material off this site, you can try any of the
following:
1. See if someone in your study group was able to print the
file you want and make a photocopy of it.
2. Try using one of the lab computers in case the problem is
with how your own computer is configured.
3. Using Explorer, right click on the link, select "save
target as", then save the file to your home computer. You
should be able to open and print it from there.
4. Contact Cynthia Kelley at 654-2756 or ckelley2@smcvt.edu. She is the
person for website trouble shooting.
