A note about the archives: Feel free to use old material as much as it is actually useful to you. The old class lectures though are in old versions of PowerPoint and may not work properly. It is often much quicker and less frustrating to simple redo math and graphics than it is to try to cut and past outdated stuff. Also, I expect you to build and improve on past work. This is also especially true if you choose to repeat a previous special topic--you must go beyond what your predecessors did!
