With help from Physical Plant, a community garden has being established on the grounds of the college. Individual plots were established in 2008. Larger-scale gardening and soil amending began in 2009 and is planned for 2010. Garden produce was sold at on-campus farmer's markets in Fall 2009 and this will continue in 2010. A cover crop was planted in Fall 2010 to further improve the soil and reduce errosion. To visit the garden, follow the private road from the jug-handle turn directly opposite the east entrance to campus. Please be careful crossing the active railway crossing on the way down.
