EdTech Minutes for Thursday, 25 March 2004

Attending: Mike Battig (chair), David Boynton, Mark Lubkowitz, Joe McLaughlin and ex officio members: Joanne Schneider, Sandy Karstens, Sue Breeyear, Steve Burks.

 

Agenda:

 

  1. Minutes of the last meeting (11 Mar 2004), previously distributed, were approved as submitted; Joe McLaughlin was appointed scribe for today’s meeting.

 

  1. Today’s TRC-EdTech brownbag lunch on distance learning

 

21 members of the faculty and staff attended today’s noontime presentations by Dianne Lynch, Christine Bauer-Ramazani, Greta Pangborn, and Mike Battig in the Farrell room.  Committee members thought it was an informative and profitable session, and Mike expressed thanks to the fine presenters and all who provided wonderful posters, helpful notices and great food.

 

  1. 1 April TRC-EdTech brownbag lunch on last summer’s laptop workshops

 

Next week’s brownbag is being organized by TRC.  So far Jeff Adams and Anne McConnell are scheduled to share their experiences of last summer’s laptop workshops.  Mark will check with Doug Green of TRC to insure that food and publicity are taken care of.
