Presentation Evaluation

Your group presentation will be evaluated using the rubric below.  Your group will all receive the same score for the group section.  You will each receive individual scores for the individual section.

GROUP SECTION

Participation All team members participate fully in the presentation, are supportive of one another, and contribute to an effective overall group presentation. All team members participate in the presentation. Overall an effective group presentation. Not all team members contribute to the same extent. Some team members do not contribute.  
Content
Shows a full understanding of the topic. Presentation contains 3 or more resources for each location and at least 3 additional suggestions.
Shows a good understanding of the topic. Presentation contains 2 or more resources for each location and at least 2 additional suggestions.
Shows a good understanding of parts of the topic. Presentation contains at least one resource for each location.
Does not seem to understand the topic very well. Presentation does not include resources for each location.
 
Organization
Presentation contains a clear introduction, body and conclusion. Speech is easy to follow and includes at least 4 transition markers. Good transition between speakers.
Presentation has an introduction, body and conclusion.
Contains at least two of the following: introduction, body, conclusion, 3 transition markers, but is sometimes hard to follow.
Disorganized presentation.
 

 INDIVIDUAL SECTION

Preparedness 
Student is completely prepared and has obviously rehearsed.
Student seems pretty prepared but might have needed a couple more rehearsals.
The student is somewhat prepared, but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking.
Student does not seem at all prepared to present.
 
Speaks Clearly
Speaks clearly and distinctly all (100-95%) the time, and mispronounces no more than 3 words.
Speaks clearly and distinctly all (100-95%) the time, but mispronounces 3 - 6 words.
Speaks clearly and distinctly most ( 94-85%) of the time. Mispronounces no more than 12 words.
Often mumbles or can not be understood OR mispronounces more than one word.
 
Collaboration with Peers
Almost always listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others in the group. Tries to keep people working well together.
Usually listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others in the group. Does not cause "waves" in the group.
Often listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others in the group but sometimes is not a good team member.
Rarely listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others in the group. Often is not a good team member.
 
Posture and Eye Contact
Stands up straight, looks relaxed and confident. Establishes eye contact with everyone in the room during the presentation.
