Scholarships and Fellowships

 

 

Delta Epsilon Sigma sponsors an annual scholarship and fellowship competition for its members. Junior-year members may apply for Fitzgerald Scholarships at $1,000 each, to be applied towards tuition costs for their senior year. Senior-year members may apply for Fitzgerald Fellowships at $1,000 each to be applied towards tuition costs for first-year graduate work. These scholarships and fellowships are named after the founder and first Secretary-Treasurer of DES, The Most Rev. Edward A. Fitzgerald of Loras College, Dubuque, lowa. The awards will be made available on a competitive basis to students who have been initiated into the society and who have also been nominated by their chapters for the competition.
