Delta Epsilon Sigma National Student Award

Delta Epsilon Sigma sponsors a National Student Award designed to bring national attention to truly outstanding accomplishment among its undergraduate members, and is intended for graduating seniors.  The criteria for the Award include:

  1. membership in DES;
  2. an overall grade point average of 3.90-4.00 on all work taken as an undergraduate;
  3. further evidence of high scholarship
    1. a grade of "A" or with the highest level of distinction on an approved undergraduate thesis or its equivalent in the major field;
    2. scores at the 90th percentile or better on a nationally recognized test (e.g., GRE, LSAT, GMAT, MCAT);
  4. endorsements by the chapter advisor, the department chair or mentor, and the chief academic officer;
  5. nominations made no later than six (6) months after the granting of the undergraduate degree.

The award consists of a gold-plated medallion and publication of the recipient's name in the Journal. Only one award will be made by a chapter.
