Eduardo Paolozzi was born of Italian parents in Scotland in 1942. He studied at the Edinburg College of Art in 1943, at St. Martin ’s School of Art in 1944, as well as the Slade School of Art in London , England from 1944 to 1947. Paolozzi went on to work in Paris, France in the late 1940s. Upon his return to England, Paolozzi shared a studio with sculptor William Turnbul. He became known in the 1960s when he began producing stunning screen prints which address a variety of subjects concerning human nature. Near the end of his career, Paolozzi turned his attention to sculptural work.
