This book was donated to St. Michael's College as a part of the Ackerman Collection. King blends symbolism and mediaeval heraldry, creating representations of African masks to show how people [pilgrims] function in society to show the "mask" that they wear.
In addition, Ronald King established Circle Press Publicationsin England in 1967. King used the name Circle Press to emphasize his vision of like-minded-artists working within a supportive framework.
