This book contains a story about Minos, King of Crete and his step son the monstrous Minotaur, a
creature with the body of a man, and the head of a bull. Minos was unhappy with this creature his step-son, the result of the Queen falling in love with a bull. Therefore, the Minotaur was locked away and placed in the center of a maze, a tremendous laboryth structure located under the palace.

Each carefully designed page in the book includes a small etching in the center of larger, detailed embossed prints. These prints illustrate the laborynth-like structures that the Minotaur was caged in.
