This painting was a gift of Hewitt's wife, Karen Hewitt, in honor of Professor Lance Richbourg's retirement in 2003.
Francis (Frank) Hewitt was a prominent painter in the Burlington community at one point. He taught at UVM
but was close with some of the professors here at Saint Mike's, especially
Lance Richbourg.
