Make appointments at the Writing Center as necessary—to review an outline, to review the text, to review in-text citations, references, etc.
Start with an introduction stating the purpose of your paper, why it is interesting to you, and what your main points will be throughout the paper.
Give background introducing the culture or co-culture you are profiling.
Develop the other points you signaled in the paper, in the same order.
Note: In 2. and 3., make sure you refer to “deep-structure” concepts such as perceptions, beliefs, family, history, values, etc., as well as verbal/non-verbal communication, educational and/or healthcare patterns. Also discuss potential problems in intercultural communication.

5. Your final paper should include
a Cover sheet (title of the paper, your name, course name and number, institution, professor’s name, date)
an outline
a title on the first page of the text
page numbers (top right)
in-text citations, and
references in APA format.
Length
6. The paper should be double-spaced, at least 8 pages in length.
Proof-reading
7. Set enough time aside to do careful proof-reading of your paper for
Errors (spelling, punctuation--run-on sentences--format, APA style, etc.)
