1. Analyze the situations from a cross-cultural standpoint, based on the principles you have learned.

2. Identify the value and orientation patterns that underlie the words and actions of the people involved.

3. Identify the assumptions about the other culture made by the individuals involved.

4. Suggest solutions that incorporate the principles of intercultural communication outlined in Chapter 10.
