Moderator Assignments

Spring 2011 -- ALD Online Training Course

MODERATING A DISCUSSION:  Each course participant is expected to moderate the Reading Discussion Forum and the Sharing what you learned discussion forum, taking turns each week.  Being a moderator means "leading the discussion".  There will always be co-moderators, each with a specific role:

  1. the STARTER: The starter should be the first to read and post the summary during the week you are moderating. After that you need to
  1. the WRAPPER: The Wrapper follows the discussions and posts a summary at the end of the week (Sunday).  During the week, the wrapper also participates in posting timely responses/comments to other participants' postings.
