This WebQuest is designed to facilitate the exploration of differences and similarities between English-speaking countries.  Although Australia, England, and the United States all share the same language, there exist multiple dialects between the three countries.  Furthermore, it is important for students to understand the political, economic, and social aspects of these nations. Learners should discover how (if at all) language affects infrastructure and cultural norms.  However, it is important that stereotypes be excluded from the gathered data.

Teachers should guide students away from generalities and towards more truthful assessments.  Collaboration of students, teachers, and parents, will foster a learning environment designed to enrich learners’ understanding of select Anglophone countries.

Thank you for taking part in this learning experience.
