Introduction

Have you ever thought that you wanted to own a pet?  In the United States, many people own animals as pets and treat them as a member of their family.  The most common pets are dogs, cats, and fish, but many other animals can also be pets, including exotic animals like reptiles or birds.

Owning a pet has a lot of rewards including unconditional love and companionship.  Owning a pet can teach a child or teenager responsibility.  But owning a pet can also can be a lot of work.  Depending on what pet you choose, it can be very time consuming and costly.

Your task in this WebQuest will be to work as part of a team and choose pets you would like to own.  Each team member will have a specific role and research a certain aspect of owning the pets of your choice.  The team will then narrow down their findings and make a PowerPoint presentation to show your choice and research.
