Web tasks for Chapitre 3

1. Exercises for review. Go to the Web exercises for Ch. 3, and do the following ones: Choisissez! and Remplissez! Don't forget to send me your exercises after you do them.

2. Oral proficiency interview for test on Wednesday, 3 June.

  • Be prepared to discuss the tasks which follow. You may prepare notes with specific terms or dates, but do not write out full sentences or paragraphs.
  • You will be able to use new terms you find on the sites and which you understand through their context, or from other reading strategies. Limit the verbs and sentence structures you put them into, however. Use what you know, and don't try to memorize someone else's sentences! See the list at the bottom of this page for some possiblities.

You may be asked about the following information. You can find it at the web sites indicated after the questions.

  1. What are the three largest cities in Québec? In what year was each one founded?
  2. Name three of the tourist regions (régions touristiques) of the province, and state one thing for which each is known.
  3. Choose one tourist region or the city of Montréal or Québec city. Prepare a brief description of the region or city you chose. Don't try to say everything! Limit your description to what you know how to say.
