One of the most important roles of the System Supervisor is that of creating menu items.  No instructor can begin creating a test or exercise unless a Supervisor has created a menu item, which provides the instructor with the planning and tracking screens necessary to the authoring of CAN-8 exercises.

Managing the menus is also extremely important.  This includes keeping them organized in such a way that access to exercises is simple and logical, archiving exercises and deleting course sections at the end of each semester, creating new course submenus at the beginning of the semester, and transferring material from the archives to the pertinent courses.

It's a big job, but we must keep on top of it, or potential frequent users may become discouraged.
