Sculptures

Sculptures aren't needed but can be added and attract more viewers to the shrines. The sculptures are usually a central attraction to the shrine, the devotee, and the diviner (Book 1). Once an artist has his form for
the sculpture, he Not all sculptures are carved from wood. Some are made with paper mache, cement, and plaster. Some were made with plaster cast and cement for major city markets. Some have legs and high heels on the feet. Some of the sculptures have more modern approaches. t (Book 1). Sculptures are also found outside the shrine environment and are used for rituals. Some are brought into the village center and larger pieces are used as centerpieces for dances and other cult activities. Usually outdoor shrines have white plates, bowls of water, eggs, and coke bottles laying around the sculptures (Book 1).
