CREATE is a 5-year project designed to prepare all new teachers graduating from Saint Michael's College to work effectively with the increasing number of English Language Learners (ELLs) in U.S. classrooms.


CREATE's Goals
 

Collaboration: CREATE will develop partnerships within the College
and with local schools...

Reform: ... to examine and improve ELL instruction...

Innovation: ... and develop innovative SMC student placements to support local initiatives in ELL instruction.

Project CREATE is funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of English
